A downloadable game for Windows

HandyHob2 was made for the GameMaker Community (GMC) game jam no. 51, which took place over 96 hours, between February 29 and March 4, 2024. The theme for the jam was "Cleaning Up."

HandyHob 2 was made in GameMaker Studio 2.2.5.

-----

One day, HandyHob, the hobgoblin handyman, gets a call from his boss, the Demon King:

"Hey listen, man. I've got some work for you. After your last big job, the adventurers are avoiding the roads because they're "too hazardous" or something. Now they're dungeon diving, and well, I've got some dungeons to clean, but we're a bit shortstaffed right now. Think you could come in for a day?"

Well, dungeon cleaning might not be HandyHob's profession of choice, but a bit of overtime never hurt anyone.

-----

As the title implies, HandyHob 2 is a sequel to HandyHob, which I made for the GMC game jam no. 47 and won first place. (it is not currently published anywhere except via the GMC jam forum on the GMC forum website). However, you do not need to have played HandyHob to play and enjoy HandyHob 2.

-----

To play:

Download the attached ZIP file and unzip, then simply open the .exe file. Never played a GameMaker game before? Your antivirus may stop you from opening the game at first, but the game is not harmful at all (it is a legitimate GameMaker game).

Please see the included readme.txt file for instructions, or follow the controls written in the HUD in-game.

Note: HandyHob 2 is currently only available on Windows.
